We want you to be safe when using Rockfig.
Like all other websites and social networks we cannot guarantee complete safety (as most problems arise from the behaviour of users rather than the website itself) but we have put a number of things in place, and we have come up with some community guidelines to help you keep safe.
When you first log-in to Rockfig, go to your profile and give yourself a ‘display’ name. This is the name that other users will see next to the Collections and comments you make. It is important that you don’t use your full name in Rockfig.
There is a report abuse button on every Rockfig Collection. It can be used by both registered and non-registered users. We will respond as quickly as possible to reports of abuse, but always within 24 hours.
Your Rockfig profile is only visible within Rockfig, to Rockfig users and will not appear in search engine results.
Personal information includes your email address, phone number and password. Never include this information in your profile, your Collections or your comments. We hope that everyone who uses Rockfig is honest and genuine but you can never be sure that everyone is who they say they are.
We will remove comments that do not follow these guidelines and will shut the account of anyone posting inappropriate comments. Remember, once you have posted a comment, it could be online for ever.
No spam or advertising is allowed. Repetitive comments with no value or meaning, or comments made in any other language other than English are considered to be spam.
We will remove Collections that do not follow these guidelines and will shut the account of anyone creating inappropriate Collections.
Your account is yours and yours only so no impersonating anyone else. Please only register once as using more than one account can be confusing for other Rockfig users.
Remember your parent(s), teachers and other students from your school will see your profile photo on Rockfig so choose one that they would approve of, that doesn't contain any personal identifiable information and is just you and no one else.
You can contact us by email email@example.com if you have any suggestions or questions.
